I love simple decor for the holidays and this cute little sign I found at the dollar store was perfect, except it was a little too simple.



Since we have a lot of beach themed decor in our house we decided to give this little love sign a beachy vibe too.


Here's what you'll need:

love sign (from the dollar store)
mini sea shells
hot glue gun and glue
acrylic paint



Start by painting the sign first.  I didn't.  I was planning to leave it plain since I liked the neutral color of it, but then decided to paint it after it was all done.

Then use your hot glue gun to glue on those mini shells nice and tight.  You could definitely use other glue, but since hot glue is so sturdy and dries super fast I wanted to use it.





Continue to glue on your shells until you are happy with how they look.  That's it!
