Looking for some fun, cheap and easy St. Patrick's Day decor?  Head to the dollar store to grab things to make this cute little leprechaun hat and pot of gold.

What you will need:

leprechaun hat decor
terra cotta pot
floral foam
plastic gold coins
dowel or some type of stick
black acrylic paint



Start by paint your dowel and your pot.  You can paint it any color you want with, but I stick with black.  To make sure my dowel stayed in place and didn't fall through the hat I glued on a wooden ball that I had laying around.  You can use anything you want, even just balling up some paper and glueing it to the dowel and then the hat.

When your pot has dried, take some of your floral foam and put it into the pot to fit nice and tightly and then push your dowel into place.




Then take your coins and start to glue them in place on top of your floral foam until it looks like a nice and full pot of gold.



Then add some glue to the top of your dowel and attach your leprechaun hat in place.  Then set it out and display all your riches!
